Description
All from Deni and she says they are all sweet. Stroz is especially dear to our hearts since it was discovered in a CRFG member’s backyard and registered by her. As Mark Abraham, one of our members, says about it on his website:
“Stroz” is a small, round fig with a green skin and a white flesh. The fruit has a mild, sweet, and refreshing flavor, with a thin skin and a soft pulp. The fruit is good for eating fresh, making salads, smoothies, and sorbets, or drying for later use. The tree is a dwarf variety that can grow up to 10 feet tall, and is suitable for containers or small gardens. The fruit matures from August to October, and produces a light and variable crop.
