Description
Glen is famous for having traveled to New Zealand many times to bring back scions of their far superior feijoas. He has propagated roughly 50 different cultivars in Santa Monica and also created the Feijoa Orchard at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in San Marino. (You can watch a video about this here introduced by our own Margaret Frane.)
His seedlings — being seedlings — can not be distinguished by cultivar but without question contain the qualities of his great feijoas. Plus, of course, the beautiful flowers are also edible.
This is a really extraordinary opportunity given that 1 gallon pots of run-of-the-mill, far less tasty feijoa often sell for $30.
