The stems are fat and juicy, it picks easily, cooks well and tastes good. And now to its main feature – its colour…..WOW! Some plants stems are BLACK, really BLACK. The seedlings have variable colouring, ranging from black to ebony, with an odd throwback to just a good red, and it retains its colour all year round.
